The meaning behind our logo
Cornerstone's logo features a cross on a path set in rolling hills with the sun rising on the horizon.
The cross clearly proclaims our Christ-centered focus. Jesus Christ is described in the Bible as the Cornerstone, the foundational first stone of a new building, which reflects our desire to build our church and our lives around wholehearted devotion to Jesus Christ.
The path is representative of our spiritual journey. At Cornerstone we welcome everyone, no matter where they are on their spiritual journey, and encourage them to take the next step. Jesus proclaimed himself "The Way" and the earliest Christian movement was known also as "The Way."
The sunrise suggests newness and growth. The Bible describes each follower of Christ as a "new creation." The sunrise reminds us of the constant renewal God works in the lives of people, as well as the hope and expectation we have as a new and growing congregation.
